COURSE
With the construction on Nicollet Avenue finished, the course will move back to the original Mall course with the start line adjacent to Loring Park and the finish line between 6th and 7th Streets South on the Nicollet Mall.

SPLITS
Split times will be read at the first quarter mile only but the street will be marked at each quarter mile thereafter.
ROAD CLOSURE/COURSE CROSSING INFORMATION
- Willow Street South will be closed from the intersection of Yale Place and 14th Street South from 6:00 p.m. until 8:15 p.m.
- Nicollet Mall will be closed to all bus and taxi traffic starting at 6:30pm. Traffic will flow on cross streets between waves.
 OFFICIAL "CHEERS ZONES"
Grab a bite to eat while you watch the race from one of the Official Cheers Zones. This year, Brits Pub, The Local, McCormick & Schmick's and The Newsroom are hosting outdoor seating areas and are serving as Cheers Zones.
Peavey Plaza Party
Runners - Join us at Peavey Plaza on Thursday May 8, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for a free concert by Combo Flambé as we kickoff the 2008 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon season. Listen to live music and cheer on thousands of runners at the TC 1 mile as they take the first steps in training for this years marathon.
M&I Bank Post-Race Party 
After the race, stop by M&I Bank located at the exit to the finish line chute for post-race refreshments.
 CERTIFICATION/SANCTION
The course is certified (#MN06002RR) and the event is sanctioned by USA Track & Field. TCM, Inc. strongly encourages, but does not require, USATF membership. For more information on USATF, call (952) 380-5823.
