Training

Maximize the journey of your marathon experience by training with the best! Life Time Fitness, the health and fitness company providing the official marathon training program for the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon, has designed a training program that is educational, entertaining, and challenging, while motivating beginning and veteran marathoners alike. Official training begins in June, with pre-season team runs beginning in May. For more information, contact info@lifetimeendurance.com  or check out www.lifetimeendurance.com .

Training Team Network

In addition to the training provided by Life Time Fitness, Twin Cities In Motion offers a special opportunity for local running clubs, teams and organizations that host special training classes specifically for the marathon.

Any running club or training team that hosts an organized marathon training program specifically for our event are invited to join our network of Training Teams. Coordinators of these programs are invited to meetings at the marathon office to discuss the progress of the marathon and its special events, as well as, network with other training teams.

Through the 2010 training team network, we hope to unite the running community by offering opportunities to network with other training team coordinators, provide a vehicle for continued education to coaches and facilitators, and add alternatives to running the marathon for their participants.

Find a running club and training team that fits your needs by visiting our Training Team Network listing.
