RACE NUMBER AND T-SHIRT PICKUP
Preregistered runners will be able to pick up their race numbers, timing chips (for the 10 mile only) and t-shirts at Marathon Sports, 2312 W 50th Street in Minneapolis starting Wednesday, 3/10 through Friday, 3/12. Race day (3/13) number and t-shirt pickup will be available at the Lake Harriet Band Shell.

COURSES AND TIMING
The start and finish of both races are located near the Lake Harriet Band Shell. The 5k race is one counter-clockwise loop of Lake Harriet and will not be timed. A clock will be available at the finish. 

The 10 Mile run will be chip timed and is run around both Lake Harriet and Lake Calhoun. Course split clocks will be available at the one mile and the five mile marks.

The course is certified by USA Track & Field. Participants are strongly encouraged, but not required, to become USATF members. For more information on USATF, visit www.usatfmn.org.

PARKING INFORMATION
The main parking lots surrounding the Band Shell will be closed to participant parking as will the parking bays on the course. We recommend parking on side streets on all sides of the Lake and using the short walk for your warmup!  Another option is the parking lot at the south end of Lake Calhoun near the intersection of William Berry Parkway and Richfield Road/Calhoun Parkway. 

PRIZES
All runners receive a short-sleeve Asics® technical shirt and a 100% Irish bottle opener. There will be fun door prizes, and great finish line food including the world famous Emily's Bakery & Deli St. Patrick's Day cookies!

POST-RACE BEER GARDEN presented by Finnegan's 
Remember to bring your photo ID and cash for the post-race St. Patrick's Day Beer Garden presented by FINNEGANS Irish Amber! Each participant of legal age gets a free 10 oz. cup of FINNEGANS. Buy additional 16 oz. cups for just $3 and help support our local community. Every penny of profit from a pint of FINNEGANS is donated to the FINNEGANS Community Fund, a 501(c)3 nonprofit which, in turn, disburses grants and such to dozens of local charities fighting poverty. RESULTS
The 5K is an untimed fun run but there will be a clock at the finish line.  The 10 Mile is timed using the ChampionChip provided by MTec.  We'll be using a single-use chip that you can keep as a souvenir or recycle in a bin located near the registration tent.  Click here for 10 Mile results which will be posted later in the day on the 13th.
