TC 10K	Saturday, October 2, 2010

Congratulations to the more than 1,700 participants in the inaugural TC 10K, Saturday, October 3, 2009!  This year's first place finishers were Evgeny Beletskiy, who finished with a 33:59 time, Ariella Gottfried, who finished in 36:43.  The new 10K course is an out-and-back along Summit Avenue and starts and ends on John Ireland Boulevard, in front of the State Capitol in Saint Paul. Visit this site for 2010 registration after the first of January, 2010.

Governor's Cup Challenge

Congratulations to all of the teams taking part in the 3rd Annual ING Governor’s Cup.  The race is part of the TC 5K and is a way for Twin Cities Marathon, Inc. and the Governor of Minnesota to recognize the hard work that emergency responders, police, fire and ambulance workers have dedicated to our weekend of events over the last 28 years. 

A special congratulations to Olmstead County Sherriff Department for taking first in challenge, with the fastest overall time! Olmstead County will recieve the traveling trophy and a brand-new AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) from Physio-Control, a division of Medtronic, to help add to their life-saving efforts.
